Application Information
No special application form is needed. However, the following should be included:
Purpose:
Amount requested;
Annual report;
Charitable registration number;
A listing of the organization’s current Directors;
A listing of the organization’s funding sources, and;
Advice as to the entity to which the cheque should be made payable.
Grant requests should be submitted by October 1st.

Eligibility & Restrictions
Grants are restricted to charitable organizations in the greater Hamilton area, although local initiatives of charitable organizations with a national presence will also be considered.
Applications for one-time grants of start-up funds or seed money for new charitable organizations or new programs within existing charitable organizations are welcome.
Grants will not be made for deficit financing, endowment funds, operating funds, or to individuals. |
